Whether you’re visiting for just a few hours or staying for several days, we’ll create a fully personalized experience that blends Jewish heritage with the best of Charleston and the Lowcountry.

See below for a sampling of experiences we provide:

  • Private tour of Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim (KKBE), the oldest continuously used synagogue in the U.S. and birthplace of American Reform Judaism

  • Private tour of Brith Sholom Beth Israel (BSBI), the oldest continuously used Ashkenazi Orthodox synagogue in the U.S. and cornerstone of “Little Jerusalem”

  • Private tour of Coming Street Cemetery, the oldest Jewish burial ground in the South, dating to the 1700s

  • Private walking or driving tour of historic downtown Charleston, with a focus on Jewish landmarks and stories (learn more)

  • Behind-the-scenes access to rare archival materials from the Jewish Heritage Collection, guided by an expert historian

  • Thematic tour options, including Jewish-Southern culinary traditions or deeper explorations of African American Jews, slavery, and shared histories

  • Service learning and tikkun olam opportunities, such as volunteering at a local urban farm or food justice initiative

  • Kosher or non-kosher catering, as well as curated restaurant reservations

  • Lodging recommendations and hotel coordination

  • Optional excursions to sites beyond Charleston, including plantations, Fort Sumter, and the USS Yorktown, with custom narration to highlight relevant Jewish or historical context

  • Opportunity to attend Shabbat services at KKBE or BSBI, with opportunities to meet local congregants or clergy

Transportation is provided throughout in a premium SUV, and as always, tours are led by a licensed, certified guide who offers in-depth local insight every step of the way.

Perfect for families, small groups, or anyone seeking a more in-depth journey — this is Charleston, entirely your way.
